These shirts follow a slim/standard fit frame, and are designed to fit similarly to many popular athleisure brands today. They are about 1/4th a size smaller than "true to size".
General rule of thumb is that they run slightly closer to the body than traditional shirt sizes since they're a slim/standard hybrid. If you fit in a standard size BUT BARELY, you should consider sizing up. For a more relaxed fit, you can also go one size up.

If you're like us, these numbers can be confusing, so in general, here's the deal: slim fits tend to do great for lean-to-average builds, but will honestly start to show especially around the love handles as BMI goes up. You know yourself best, and should consider a more relaxed size up if you're on the fence.
Or, if still in doubt, you can always use our mantra fitting test.

You like to say "I like fitness." = will probably fit well.
You like to say "Fitness pizza in my mouth" = might want to size up.
You like to say "I like fitness, but also fitness pizza in my mouth" = your guess is as good as ours.
