I wanted a better work shirt.
Hey, I'm Sean. I spent fifteen years in sales, and a lot of that time in stiff button-downs. I got to the point where if I had to wear one more sandpaper shirt I was going to lose it. I wanted something softer, with a good fit that didn't wear on me like a garbage bag, that I could feel comfortable in all day.
That's what I'm building with Noble Threads. A wardrobe of comfortable, great fitting clothes.

Learning as I went.
I came to this as a customer. I had no experience making clothes, but I knew what I wanted to wear.
I started Noble Threads in 2021 launching my first button-downs concept: "a t-shirt disguised as a button down", which had no traditional cufflinks. I'll never forget posting the design on Reddit and the fashion community telling me to kick rocks.
Those shirts started to catch on. By 2025, I'd left my tech job and put my savings into the business.
There have been some hard stretches since then. Tariffs shut the business down, and I went back to work in tech while rebuilding Noble Threads. Today, we have a new supply chain in Peru and we're moving the collection to Pima cotton.
I'm still working on the same thing that got me started: clothes that fit well and feel good through a full day.
A little more about the setbacks
A factory sizing error also left us with thousands of shirts made a size too small. Customers had to deal with exchanges they shouldn't have needed, and working through those has been a difficult part of the past year.

Comfort is still the whole reason.
Start with the fabric.
Our new collection uses Pima cotton from Peru, blended for stretch and shape. I want the fabric to feel good as soon as you put it on.
Leave room to move.
A clean fit through the body, with room in the shoulders. You should be able to reach, sit, and get through your day comfortably.
Make sizing familiar.
I'm working toward a consistent fit across tees, polos, button-downs, and blazers, so you don't have to start over every time you try something new.
Pants are next.
I'd like to build a whole wardrobe with the same approach to comfort and fit. There are more ideas in the works, but pants are the next step.
