A thank-you for your patience — VIP upgrade and gift card credit
We know parts of this pre-order have taken longer than we originally promised, and we don't take your patience for granted. As a thank-you, we're putting together a VIP package upgrade for affected pre-orders, along with a gift card credit for your patience. We're finalizing the details now and will post them here — and email every affected customer directly — as soon as they're locked in.
Ship windows are firming up
Here's where things stand: production completes August 15, independent inspection follows immediately, and dispatch is planned for the week of August 17. Air freight quotes are already in hand and sea quotes arrive shortly — we'll post exact delivery dates the moment dispatch is booked. Marketing samples ship August 10, which means fresh photos for this page very soon.
Final inspection complete — report in review
The pre-shipment inspection of the finished goods wrapped up on August 5. The independent inspection team has submitted their report and it's in final review now. The moment it clears, those goods are released to ship.
Production milestone — inspection begins
The finished pieces from this pre-order cycle — long-sleeve button-downs, short-sleeve button-downs, Hero Polos, and knit blazers — moved into final pre-shipment inspection with third-party inspectors on site at the factory.
A new production partner — and Dusty Pink is back on
After the QA failures below, we made a bigger decision: we've moved production to a new partner whose workshop we've been vetting all summer. First order of business — a full remake of the Dusty Pink short-sleeve in freshly custom-dyed fabric. The dye run takes about five weeks, production completes September 18–25, and it flies to us by air straight after. If your pre-order includes Dusty Pink, expect it in late September or early October — and thank you for your patience; we'd rather remake it right than ship it wrong.
An honest update on the Dusty Pink short-sleeve
During our quality review we found that the entire Dusty Pink short-sleeve run had a button placement error — the bottom button sits a full inch higher than our spec. We don't ship pieces that miss our standard, so we refused the run rather than send it to you. The good news came three days later — see the July 30 update above.
Holding the line on quality
We reviewed full size-run samples from mass production, piece by piece, and rejected anything outside our measurement tolerances. It's slower this way, but it's the reason the shirt that arrives at your door fits the way it should.
During-production inspection results are in
Independent inspectors spent two days at the factory checking the run mid-production. They flagged a handful of measurement and stitching issues — exactly what these inspections are for — and we required corrections before anything moves to the final stage.
Samples approved — bulk production underway
Pre-production samples were approved and the factory moved into full production on the 2026 pre-order run. We also scheduled independent during-production and pre-shipment inspections so quality gets checked twice before anything ships.
